Happy Friday!

The second grade Wax museum turned out to be a big hit. It was awesome and the students had a lot of fun while learning. It was great to have so many parents show up on yesterday.

The field trip to the Durham Bulls ball park was also a success. We had  a wonderful time and the chaperones were great.

*We have been doing end of the year assessments this week for math and reading. We will continue with this next week. Also, On May 14, 15, and 16th we will have our second grade benchmark testing.

*The students will take pictures on Monday, May 5, 2008.

***Parents, please help me cut down on the distractions in class by not allowing your children to bring items such as, marbles, pokemon cards, trading cards,etc. to school. I have asked the students not to bring toys to class but it is still happening. Thanks for your help and understanding.
